A nice family cruise

Sail Date: May 01, 2015

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

Great ship\, big and clean and definitely remodeled. I liked the interactive maps on each deck\, it made it almost impossible to get lost (almost).

Pros: Service was phenomenal!

Cons: Not much for small children to enjoy

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? Yes!

Children's Programs
Depends on the age of your children. I went with a 4 year old and a 6 month old. Some activities for them but you paid a nice price for it (on top of the pretty much full price ticket you already paid for each).
For excursions\, this was bad. All excursions mirrored each other (the change was really who you booked it with). Many gaps in time to do nothing in a city so small you can walk it in less than 10 minutes. Everything started at 1:00 pm.
Service and Staff
Best staff ever. They are super friendly\, make you feel at home and are just all around awesome. The only reason they do not get an excellent is for their bartenders; they were rude and always made us feel like we were an inconvenience\, and this was 6 out of the 7 that we \"bothered\" with our drink requests.
Cabin / Stateroom
Small room for 4 people\, but very comfortable and well kept every day. Bathroom felt more like a port-a-potty\, but not sure if this is avoidable on a cruise ship.
Food and Dining
Not earth shattering goodness\, but good food. Not great for vegetarians or those who do not eat seafood\, but for those without those restrictions\, it was good.
Ship Quality
Very clean and well kept. Some areas need some TLC and maybe some upgrading to modernize it a bit (casino).
