Review summary

As soon as you embark, you can feel yourself start relaxing.  The ship is just gorgeous, plenty of comfortable seats located inside and outside, around people and in out of the way places for some solitude.  Beverages abound, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.  There are plenty of on board activities to keep everyone amused, plenty of pools and jacuzzi's for everyone to enjoy the sunshine.  There is an adult only pool with two jacuzzi's and it's own bar.  The staterooms are amble with plenty of hot water for showering.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, offering everything from ship directions for those of us that get easily lost to offering suggestions for shore excursions.

By the time we returned to port, I was totally relaxed and recharged.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was excellent. Multiple choices for starters, entrees, and desserts. Every night was different.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Typical Bingo, Trivia, Bellyflop Contest, etc. They also had an art auction with lectures on various artists.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The house band, "C Wind", was great. They could cover any song from any generation. The singers and dancers on the other hand... Well, let's just say there's a reason they are working on a cruise ship and not Broadway!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The entire crew was so friendly and helpful. They have an international crew so it was fun learning about different countries.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is starting to show it's age and the Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream freezer was not working. They did, however, have a soft serve ice cream machine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was more than spacious and I asked the stateroom attendant to split the beds apart so I could enjoy the view from the window during the day. For sleeping, the attendant was more willing to push the beds back together to make a single bed.

Ship tip

Be sure to visit CoCo Cay and not stay on the ship. There are a lot of activities to enjoy as well as enjoy the beach. The bbq is great and shouldn't be missed!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
The Port was nice and clean. If you can spare the time, be sure to visit Grills. They have a great Fish Reuban sandwich.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful beach, very clean. Find a chair in the sand, go swimming or snorkling or parasailing.

Nassau, Bahamas

I was not impressed with the Atlantis Aquarium. It is touted as the largest aquarium in the Bahamas. Maybe they have quantity, but certainly not variety of species. Skip this one!
