Review summary

I have cruised frequently and this experience was not what I expected.  The weather prevented debarkation at the private island.  This could not be avoided but it was explained that at this time of the year, it is a common occurrence for weather to prevent the tender boats from being able to take passengers to the island.  Why schedule that on the itinerary then?  It would make more sense to schedule a stop in another port where the boat can be docked during the winter months.  This situation reduced 50% of our experiences off of the ship. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable and although the wine list was extensive, only a few of the wines listed were actually available and most of those were mediocre at best.  The wait staff was excellent, however, and the food was good.
