Bachelorettes take over the Bahamas

Sail Date: June 13, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

8 of us took on the Enchantment of the Seas for a bachelortte party. Such a great time. Small enough ship where you actually see people you've met around. Short enough, where you can get away for a little & not take too much time off work. Our room attendent was great and so were all our waiters for dinner. Coco Cay was the best, it was so nice to just relax and not have to worry about anything. Wish the boat left more frequently to take to coco cay, but understand why they wait (saves $).

The hammocks were amazing and exactly what I wanted to do when we weren't doing bachelorette stuff.

Recommend for groups & bachelorette parties to cruise in general. Enough space to do your own thing but able to all be together as well.

Only complaints were the bloody marys weren't great, just premade mixer with vodka, but understand why they couldn't keep too much on hand. Also, dinner came out just as fast as it went in, which again I understand why. Have to keep stuff fresh for a long period of time, so I'm sure many additives.

Overall, great ship (3rd time on this same one) & best trip yet!

Ship Quality
I've been on this same ship 3x now, so I know it's a bit older & shows the wear on the base of the ship. Still a great ship.
Food and Dining
Great choices & was delicious. Just came out rather quickly. Bad thing about drinks were you had to sign every time, quite annoying especially when tip was already included.
Service and Staff
My room attendent (wish I could remember her name) was wonderful, room 2075. Rosario, Mark, Richard were our serves at dinner, all great! They all need a raise
Entertainment
We didn't do too much of it. The 70's dance party was great. Others in our group enjoyed the silent dance party & we all enjoyed the singles night & 18-25 met & great on the 11th floor. Tons of fun
Onboard Activities

Destinations and Excursions
Coco Cay=the best! Relaxation with a bit of fun you can add on. Our excursion wasn't through RC, but was fun. Sail & snorkeling, plus free rum punch on the way back.
Cabin / Stateroom
At first was one bed, but was broken up to two. Ideal for any situation.
We had one of the upgraded ones from the remodel, so our shower was 100x better than our group as we had a shower door instead of curtain.
Not too small, ideal for what was needed as you aren't in the room that much.
Port Canaveral, Florida
Nothing great, nothing bad.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Wonderful, had a great time!

Tip

If you are going to be separated from your group, have a central meeting place. Take advantage of the phones around the ship. Walkie-talkies aren't a bad idea either.

Enjoy the time without your cellphone or communication, it may be annoying at times but it's so nice to detach yourself.
