9 Night Bahamas (Baltimore Roundtrip)
Sail Date: February 18, 2012
Ship: Enchantment of the Seas
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 5 years ago
The ship is old and looks very worn, and frankly is not up to typical RCCL standards...however the great staff and service that RCCL provides definitely makes a trip on this ship worthwhile..The ease of getting in and out of the Baltimore port is great, but I can see why it cannot accommodate larger, newer ships (as they need to pass under bridges is the bay).

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent as well as the dining service in the main dining room. Food was plentiful at the Wind Jammer for breakfast and lunch - but not great for evening meals.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Good entertainment - we like the flip phone scavenger hunt! and the comedian was great.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
One child - 9 traveling with us wasn't very pleased with the children's area - she said there was 'chaos'!! She basically hung out with the adults

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Ship staff is always friendly and accommodating !! Very friendly and the staff get along very well ! Couldn't ask for better people or better service !

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship was generally clean - but shows rust stains and signs of wear and tear.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom was clean and we had very good service from our room attendant

Pros: Still had fun despite MANY days at sea

Cons: We missed 2 ports due to engine issues on the ship

Recommends Enchantment of the Seas? No.
