Review Summary

It was our first time on a cruise and we were not sure about taking our 4 yr old. The kids program "Adventure Ocean" was outstanding - I really can't speak high enough of it - they watched our son the entire day and he would literally wake up in the morning and say "how many minutes till adventure ocean" the teachers there were amazing, the activites were awesome and each day our son would ask if he could stay longer. The teachers were fun, caring and responsible. They watched him on port days and sea days- we left him on the ship with them for a port day and came back to find them singing, coloring and giggling together. The best part of the cruise outside of the kids program was the service. The dining room staff and the activites staff were great. THe shows were ok (honestly I only saw 2, my husband saw the rest and said they were 'alright') We noticed the ship was clean and nice. Our inside stateroom was cramped to say the least for 3 people. The ship only seemed crowded the first day at the buffet in the afternoon. The pool deck was nice- lots of room and whirlpools.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
This was amazing - my husband is very picky, and he was thrilled about the food -every aspect. They also had a great selection for our 4 yr old. From steak and pasta at dinner to chicken fingers and pizza for lunch. (Plus he could get a hamburger any time of the day

The variety was alright. The schedule was packed (but only if you wanted it to be) With a little one around I really didn't see much of the late night stuff.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Outstanding - Really I can't brag about this enough - Everything; the huge ocean view room they had, the number of activites, the programs and parades and they time that he could spend there was awesome. He could stay all day, or come and go as we pleased, We would pick him up for lunch, let him take a nap, then bring him back for some time in the afternoon, then they would come to the dining hall for dinner to pick him up and take him for the evening session. Our son LOVED it, he has asked a few times "when can we go back to Adventure Ocean mom?"

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The waitstaff in the dining hall would literally race to see who could get our son his fruit bowl first, and then they would race to bring his main course out, and they cut it up for him...it was awesome and we really felt pampered.
