Enchantment of the Seas

5 Night Western Caribbean (Ft. Lauderdale Roundtrip)

Sail Date: December 09, 2006

Ship: Enchantment of the Seas

Cabin Type: Balcony

Traveled As: Couple

Review Summary

We were amazed at how well the ship handled the large number of passengers with little or no standing in lines. There was a storm on the first full day of sailing, but I experienced no problem with any queasiness, nor did my wife who is susceptible to mal de mer.

Ports Of Call

George Town, Grand Cayman

5 out of 5
George Town was a better visit for us than was Ocho Rios. With seven cruise ships in town at the same time the place was crowded but the stores were enjoyable to visit.
Don't Miss: Senor Frog bar.

Ocho Rios, Jamaica

3 out of 5
We did not take any tours at Ocho Rios but spent much of the day in the town itself. The shopping areas were uneven, with the one nearest the pier the better of the ones that we visited.

Pros: Ship cleanliness, staff friendliness, and food

Cons: Nothing. The Enchantment met and exceeded our expectations
