Enchantment of the Seas Cruise Review
This trip was the greatest! We arrived at Ft. Lauderdale at 3:15 and walked right onto the boat.. no waiting. The crew on board this ship was the best EVER. This was our third cruise with RCI and the best one yet. The cruise director, Matt Baker, is so full of energy. He was so much fun to be around and it was very obvious that he loves his job. We would go on the Enchantment again just to see him! Key West was fun... we have been there a few times, so we just did some shopping. Cozumel was much better this go round. We went on an excursion from the port (not affiliated with the cruise ship). It was a great deal, they took us to Chakkanaub (spelling?), which is a state park where we went snorkeling right off shore. The snorkeling was fabulous! Afterwards the driver took us downtown and allowed us as much shopping time as we wanted. At our request, he then took us to Carlos and Charlie's. If you do visit Cozumel and you like to party, you must go there. It is so much fun! After that our driver took us back to the port. The driver stayed with us for the entire day for $35 per person, which inlcuded admission to the park and snorkeling. I thought that was a great price! The entertainment was also really good on this ship. They had singers and dancers and a comedian. They had a lot of poolside events and a few game shows. All was enjoyable. My only dissapointment with this cruise was the food. The food on this ship, as has been with all of our RCI cruises, was very average. The portions were fine and there was definitely enough to eat, but the quality could use some improvement.Overall the trip was wonderful. I am ready to plan my next cruise with RCI in the Spring. This time we are going on a 7-day Eastern Caribbean. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
