Review summary

Every aspect of our lives are affected by inflation. Cruises included. Princess' belt tightening is tolerable. We shall remain loyal, at least for our next 3 paid Princess cruises. LOL

Embarkation

4 out of 5
straight forward. No issues. Plenty of staff.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Our dining room staff was excellent, as always. Menu has gotten a bit thin. Maybe tailored to the NY departure. Rudis Catch was amazing. Ignoring the piggy, self important passengers, the buffet had a pleasant variety. Only white sugar on table. The usual non sugar sweeteners must be requested. Shortage of salt & pepper shakers. Buffet staff on both sides of the counter were great & wanting to please.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
fitness center. Events at the plaza were only fair and uninspired.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
If you have spent extended time in a major city, the shows would seem very entertaining. So if you're theater experienced, you would probably not go. Princess used to have a wonderful variety of classical music duets & trios. Now they are joined by a full orchestra on an Ipad. UCK!

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The rank & file were wonderful. The cruise director and especially the entertainment director need new jobs. The assistant CD, Shaun Eaton, needs a promotion. Our room steward Joel and dinner staff, Paul & Michael with A++. Christian we saw every morning at the buffet. He made our day a little brighter.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Seems to us to be the standard Princess layout. One of the reasons we keep coming back. We know our way around.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
everything good.....except....this is an accessible cabin with no electric available next to the bed. an extension cord must be laid across the floor for use in things like CPAPs. Fall hazard.

Ship tip

have patience with the elevator availability. Try taking the stairs.

This is why we take this cruise.

Disembarkation

No matter how well we plan for approprite Princess paid disembaration in a awheelchair van. It never happens and adds extended wait time at the port.
