Review summary

Overall, a good experience. Made me realize I need more time to experience all that Cuba can offer. And I also know that 7 days is probably the maximum amount of time I would spend onboard. 5 days was just enough for a first time cruise.

Main dining needs some improvement. I ate most of my meals at Chop's and Windjammer

Ship tip

Be mindful that it's an older and smaller ship. There aren't a lot of bells and whistles. The pool and hot tub area is small

We've done 2 14 day cruises, but both unique, one Canada and one southern Caribbean to islands we hadn't been to. So worth it...we like the 7 days

We did a nine day and it was definitely on the outer limits of what we could do. At some point life begins creeping back in and an urgency to get home shows up.

We started out with a 3 day cruise, then went on empress for 5, now we are doing LOS for 7. Hopefully it won't get boring. 7 days is alot.
