fun in spite of sleep depravation.

Room Type: Suite

We had a junior suite on the 9th deck right below the pool deck. The cabin was small but did have a balconey. It was a three day cruise that cost over $1000.00 for the two of us, which is pricey. The worst part was that the pool crew set up lounge chairs at 5:00 am right above our room! On the last morning it was 4:30, and they had salsa music cranking through the p.a. system on deck! At this point we had had it, and we went upstairs to complain and called the purser's desk as well. In all our years of cruising I've never heard of such a thing! We came home exhausted! We may not do a Royal Caribbean cruise again!

Pros: st. maartin and st. kitts were wonderful.

Cons: small ship, deck crew on horrible schedule.(see comments below)

Recommends Empress of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.
