A Royal Caribbean let down.

Sail Date: December 18, 2006

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

It seemed that certain areas of the ship were not stocked well with simple things like napkins or trash cans. Also, many surfaces were dirty. For instance, the seats on the ship had dirty, sticky arm rests.

Pros: Loved the itinerary.

Cons: The ship itself was dirty and poorly laid-out.

Recommends Empress of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Margarita (Isla De Margarita), Venezuela

Don't Miss: Don't miss the historical tours. They will take you to the top of one of the major mountains to see an old stone fort used for protecting the island many years ago. It's well worth the treck.
