Ship: Empress of the Seas (RETIRED) 223 Reviewed: 7 years ago
Our cruise on the Nordic Empress was supposed to leave from NY. But because of 9/11, we had to leave from Philly. Royal Caribbean provided us with bus service from NY to Philly. We had a great time on the cruise. We went to Bermuda, St. Thomas and Puerto Rico. The food was great and so was the staff. The shows were very good also. We spent a lot of time at sea on this cruise, which was fine for us. We actually had more fun on the ship than on the islands. The other guests at our table were fun too. We spent a lot of time with each other. We went to the shows and the night club together. This was my first cruise and I can't say enough about it. We spent two days after the cruise in Puerto Rico and by far, we had much more fun on the cruise. I would definitely sail on the Nordic Empress again.
