This was our sixth cruise

Sail Date: August 26, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Suite

The ship was very clean and the staff were very sociable. Although we have cruised Royal Caribbean before, we did not think the food and the food choices for dinner were as good as they have been in the past. Overall, we were not as pleased with this cruise, as we have been with the other cruises that we have taken, even though they were all through Royal Caribbean. I was definitely pleased, however, with how took care of me and my requests. I dealt with Lorin, when I called, and he certainly is an asset to your company.

Pros: The weather was excellent, and until Friday (hurricane problems), we enjoyed it all

Cons: The size of the "junior suite"

Service and Staff
Your staff were great. They were friendly, helpful and very gracious. They are a credit to your company. Each one was unique in their own way.
Ship Quality
The overall condition of the ship was excellent. The junior suites were much too small to be considered any kind of a "special deal" however.
Food and Dining
The food was not up to par when we compared it to our other cruises. We cruised on Royal in and 2001and 2002, 2003, rated it a lot better before. The dining room and the waiters were excellent however, We couldn't begin to say enough about the staff, they were absolutely the best.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very very disappointed in the size of the junior suite. It definitely was not worth the extra cost of a room. We have had balconies in the past, and felt we had a lot more room that we did on this ship.
We enjoyed the shows. We would have enjoyed more shows, rather than four comedians, since the shows are more entertaining. However, the first two comedians were very good.
