Review summary

This was our first cruise. Other than being a little queasy on the first sea day we had a great first cruise. I packed a lot of activities in at each port. I think it would have been better to do one excursion at each port then walk around and see the sights and shop. Enjoy your time at each port. Do lots of activities on the cruise. It's a blast.

The room was very nice. Our room steward was great. The only thing I feel could have made it better was the mattress. We had the beds put together & you could tell it was two twins put together. Each side dipped in the middle.

Enjoy your time and relax!!

When we went whale watching, at least one person in every group was throwing up. My husband told me just to watch the horizon because it doesn't move. Have been on some rough seas since, but not a problem since then. Occasionally a tiny bit queasy but I just watch the horizon

I have been very lucky with the prescription patch.

ginnyharley6, my sister cruises a lot & she has issues with seasickness. She does ginger pills & Meclazine if the ship is rocking a lot.

Iwortham, I have heard of taking the Ginger pill, just never tried it.

I always get a prescription for cruises, I rather be safe than sorry. The over the counter stuffs does not work. My suggestion is if you get any kind of motion sickness request a prescription from your doctor.

Starting a few days before we boarded, during & a few days afterwards we took 2 ginger pills in the a.m. & 2 in the p.m. I slept a couple hours the first sea day & didn't get sick again the rest of the cruise.

Do you usually get motion sickness? Did you use anything when you started getting queasy that helped?
