A great 4 day get away

Sail Date: October 29, 2015

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was beautiful as well as our balcony room. Four days is the perfect long weekend get away with only having to take one day off from work. The Horizon buffet court was considerably smaller than that on the Regal Princess but it served it's purpose when you were not up to going to one of the other dining rooms on the ship. The port at Grand Turks and Caicos had a few shops as most ports do and it was a minute walking distance to Margaritaville which in my opinion was really the only place to visit on the small island unless of course you were interested in a snorkeling or diving excursion. I'm sure those were out of this world as the water at this port was only second to Grand Caymans. The ship is headed to 2 weeks at dry dock the end of this month so it will come back pristine for future cruises.

Cabin / Stateroom
The cabin was great. The only suggestion I would have for both my past Princess cruises is that it would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room. Everyone loves to wake up to a good hot fresh cup of coffee. We ordered room service a few times. Once the night before and the coffee came cold and twice the morning off where it was hot but not the best coffee by any means. Maybe have a Nespresso machine in the cabin. Most people don't want to leave the room to get their first cup of coffee. Also, room service was rang busy the entire first afternoon at sea and difficult to get other times. Not enough phone staff on this particular cruise.
