This was our ninth cruise and our second with Princess. We were a little worried about the size of the ship and the large number of passengers but we found that the ship did not feel crowded at all. We prefer the ships that have the deck plans that run the whole length of the ship so that when you walk the deck you are not going up/down stairs. Staff was friendly and efficient. Wish they could improve on the coffee in the buffet dining area. Would also like to see the staff enforce the 'no savings seats' rule. Many days I observed people placing towels on the lounges around the pool area at 8:00 a.m. only to leave them empty until the late afternoon when the pool games began. It would be nice if the pool staff would remove towels after an hour if no one using the lounges. We experienced many altercations with people saving very large numbers of tables/chairs in the Club Fusion when 50's night etc. going on. Some of these tables/chairs sat empty for an hour before people came to join their friends. The staff do not enforce this rule and they should!!

Pros: Princess Cays was wonderful.

Cons: Coffee.Saving of seats by large groups of people!

Recommends Emerald Princess? Yes!
