I recommend a Disney cruise for families or adult only couples. A Disney cruise is great because you can be in the main areas, like the Sail Away Party, and be with all the people/kids, but then you walk a short distance and you're in the adult-only areas for a relaxing time.
Embarkation

Very easy. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to our port-arrived-time, when right through Security, and in about 20 minutes we were boarding the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Great food on the Disney Wonder. Loved Tiana's Place. The food was good but the show with Tiana and the jazz band made the evening. We also dined at Palo brunch for the first time and it was phenomenal.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We had brunch at Palo and then that afternoon we had a mixology course in the Cadillac Lounge. We created five different cocktails and, what I really liked, was the instructor/ bar tender explained the history of the various cocktails, or where the alcohol was from & how it was made. It wasn't just "here's five cocktails" but a whole lot more.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Loved the Frozen show as well as the other Broadway style shows.
Children's Programs
No children. We did tour the children's areas on the first day and they seemed really nice.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
All the staff and crew members were great and made the cruise even more special.
Ship Quality

I've been on the Fantasy and the Wonder and loved them both. The Wonder is smaller but it seemed less crowded than the Fantasy. People say how much better the spa is on the Fantasy but I thought the spa on the wonder was great, almost the same as the Fantasy--it just didn't have a view of the ocean like the spa on the Fantasy.
Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the cabin. Bed was comfortable and the room was bigger than expected.
San Diego is a wonderful city. We spent four days in San Diego after the cruise seeing the San Diego Zoo, Little Italy, Coronado Island, and Old Town San Diego.
We went on a beach excursion in Cabo San Lucas. We were given three hours for the beach. At first we were upset because the time was so short. As soon as we arrived on the beach we were ready to go back to the ship. The view on the beach is lovely, but there are so many vendors trying to sell their items (t-shirts, hats, sunglasses, bracelets, etc) and they were annoying. And each resort, bar, or restaurant has it's own area roped off on the beach and most play loud music. So if you want some nice relaxing beach time then Cabo is not for you.
It was okay. We took a bus to the shopping area in town ($4 round trip). We walked around for about 20 minutes and then went back to the ship. I heard there is a Cultural Center and it turned out it's right across the street from the cruise ship terminal, about a 10-15 minute walk. We really enjoyed the Cultural Center. It used to be a Casino Resort in the 1920s and 1930s where all the old Hollywood stars would vacation (Lucille Ball, Bette Davis, etc). The Cultural Center was the highlight of Ensenada and I'd recommend it. Skip the bus to the shopping area. It's a lot of shops of t-shirts, trinkets, etc. Besides, they have some of the same exact things in the Cultural Center and also as you walk back to the ship there is a shopping area.
