Review summary

I would recommend a Royal Caribbean cruise over this cruise by far for both Kids and Adults.  The food throughout was subpar.  The shows, characters, and service were overall great.  The ships daily scheduling needs addressing as there was too much downtime and dining options limited to their schedule.  Dining options were more like a "cattle call" instead of a pleasurable dining experience.

I would not recommend a disney cruise unless you just want to see the characters, but then have fun waiting in the hour long lines to get pictures and signatures.

For Kids its great, but adults will be bored and want off the boat by day two or three. Their Scheduling needs a lot of work.

Amazing! Fun times if the lifeguards let you get away with fun. Told we could not hang our legs off a sail boat while on board. Keep in mind this is a very small boat we rented while on the island and the water depth is maybe an average of 6 feet and both of us had lifejackets on.

A Disney cruise is a family cruise. Adults can have a good time, but there are many other cruise lines that also cater to the same age group and offer a diverse level of comfort, service, itineraries, etc.  As someone who was on the same cruise, I can attest that our family did not have to ever wait an hour to see any character, nor did we see every character. Our stateroom was in good shape, but I agree some areas of the ship are in need of an overhaul, something that has been delayed for a couple of years, but is likely to happen in 2016. Food was hit or miss for us, except at Palo where we thought it was great! And yes, a few more things for adults to do would be nice as well.

Completely disagree! Been on RCL...worse than Carnival! Been on 8 Disney, going again in April. Not changing.

We loved all 3 of our Disney cruises! Neither of my kids (nor my husband and I)ever complained about too much down time(they were 7 and 9 on our first cruise) Sailing on Royal Caribbean for the first time with kids in February so anxious to see what RCI has to offer. Sorry that you did not seem to have a magical cruise.
