Panama Canal and Hurricane Odile

Sail Date: September 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Getting on the ship is always fun with our name announced in the atrium We enjoyed having lots to do on board Enrichment lectures\, movies \,cooking demonstrations\, wandering the decks and best of all sitting on the teak chairs on deck 4 watching for wildlife
Due to the hurricane we missed two ports and went 8 days before touching land They went fast The staff kept us up to date on the storm and got us to safety with a change of course We felt safe the entire time
The children are very happy to stay in their own zone and were happy all the time

Pros: Disney always gives excellent smiling service\, delicious food\,and clean large staterooms

Cons: Due to the hurricane the evening entertainers were unable to swap out at every port

Recommends Disney Wonder? Yes!

Usually we find the adult entertainment to be more interesting The usual cast was great
Service and Staff
Disney quality everywhere always ready to help
Cabin / Stateroom
The room is much bigger then we had on carnival Loved the couch by the window Great place to watch for flying fish
Food and Dining
Good to the last bite We enjoyed new foods and old favorites Of course the dining staff is awesome
Ship Quality
