A Wonderful Time on the Wonder

Sail Date: March 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

We got bumped to the same catagory room on a lower level than we originally booked due to a block of rooms being renovated. We were not at alll happy with being moved from the 7th deck to the 2nd deck, but let me tell you, it was a blessing. The weather was horrible when we left port and the first night at sea was very rough. We went with 10 other families, most on the 7th deck. They rocked and rolled all night and we slept like babies. Do not worry about being under the night clubs on the 3rd deck, you can barely hear anything and it will not bother you in the least. Would recommed spending a little more for an outside stateroom with a window if you can afford it. I would be nice to have a view and a little natural light, but the inside staterooms are just as nice.

Pros: Staff was amazing. Had some bad weather one day and they were on the spot to add more indoor activities.

Cons: None

Recommends Disney Wonder? Yes!

Ship Quality
The staff kept the ship in spotless condition the entire time. There were sanitary wipes located throughout the ship and staff handing them out at every meal to wipe your hands.
Food and Dining
The food was great, especially the buffets.
Service and Staff
The best! Everyone on staff made theirselves available to you from the captain, the cruise director and to the custodians. If you asked for something, you got it!
Cabin / Stateroom
Inside stateroom, Catafory 10, was small but 2 adults and 2 kids made it just fine, you just have to adapt to the small quaters and be patient when getting ready. We stayed in room 2545 and had no problems at all with being on a lower deck. Wish I would have gotten an outside stateroom.
Entertainment
Disney at it's best. Wonderful shows nightly and plenty for the adults to do as well as the kids.
Children's Programs
Everything from a nursery for the babies to a teen club for the older ones, they have it all and more than enough councelors to handle them all.
