Sail Date: January 01, 2007

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our first cruise, never thought we'd enjoy being on a ship with so many other people. However, the rooms on the Disney Wonder were spacious by cruise standards and the ship was enormous! Never felt over crowded (but did forgo the kids pool all but one day). Shows were entertaining, crew were, for the most part, cheerful and helpful. Castaway Cay is a MUST for school age kids! Entertaining (and safe). You have to see Mickey underwater!

Pros: Tons of activities with the kids! Fun around every corner. Large staterooms with awesome bathroom setup. Gorgeous ship, luxurious

Cons: 3 day cruise was too short. Wouldn't even disembark at Nasua, stay on the ship and enjoy the pool sans crouds.

Recommends Disney Wonder? Yes!

Food and Dining
Food around every corner! We ordered choc chip cookies and milk from room service. The food was good, but not outstanding. The coffee was miserable - Disney uses Nestle brand coffee - pathetic. Fun restaurants for atmosphere (our server was sub-par, but other servers were great).
Service and Staff
Our stateroom attendant was Awesome! So friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our particular server for dinners was churlish, and argumentative.
Ship Quality
Gorgeous ship. Large staterooms with bunk beds for the kids. Disney movies available all day for matinees away from it all.
Cabin / Stateroom
We were in rooms 2110, 2112, 2100, and 2098. 2110 and 2112 had sitting areas that made into bunks. The kids were extatic (ages 5 and 7)
Kids used the kids clubs only for scheduled activities and really enjoyed it. We were confident with the pager system. I was glad to have the schedule of events placed under our stateroom door every morning.
