Best Vacation Ever!

Sail Date: July 01, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

This was my family's first cruise and my wife was somewhat apprehensive, The magic began even before we arrived at the ship. We were met at the airport by a wonderful staff who took our luggage and escorted us to an air conditioned bus for the ride from Orlando to Port Canaveral. Once we were on board all of our fears and anixety melted away with cool breeze. We were treated as if we were staying in the Presidential Suite instead of an Ocean View Cabin on Deck 2. We had our 15 year old son with us and after meeting the Stack (Teenage Only Area) Staff we felt perfectly safe leaving him to meet new friends. The Service was fabulous, the Food mouth watering, and the Activities endless. I highly reccomend cruising Disney even if you do noy have children but are yourselves children at heart.

Pros: The Service

Cons: It wasn't long enough

Recommends Disney Wonder? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
You are only in your cabin to sleep but there was plenty of room for the three of us. There was a divider between our bed and our son's bed
Service and Staff
I never heard the word NO from anyone on board
everything from pool parties, to live shows to first run movies
Children's Programs
Again we never felt afraid to leave our son with the staff
Ship Quality
The crew was very conscious of good hygiene and made sure everyone use toweletts before and after meals. You don't hear of sickness on Disney Cruises!
Food and Dining
The servers were excellent. If you did not like the entree ordered they would replace it until you were satisfied.
