I truly enjoyed myself. I think because the Magic is a smaller ship than the others I've been on it was not as impressive. The main difference between Disney and Carnival or NCL is the great attention to customer service.

I was disappointed by the food. Most of the reviews I read said the food was exceptional and it was a let down. It was just ok. I've found the food on the Carnival ships to be much better. The exception was Palo ($). The food there was some of the best ever.
Onboard Activities

The adult pool is fresh water. Nice touch. Not to many things to do on deck for adults. Pool, slide, mostly just sunbathing.
Entertainment

The entertainment did not disappoint. It was Broadway caliber. Most of the adult only shows are toned down. So nothing to raunchy or vulgar.

Plenty of space and storage. Extra clean. Split bathroom might be uncomfortable for larger people.

I agree with you regarding the food. When the Magic first started sailing, the food was excellent. There have been a number of cuts over the years that have driven down quality. Service, however, remains exceptional. Glad you had a good trip.
