Review summary

Well marked, easy access to areas. Overall, traveller and kid friendly. Midship elevators too small especially when having to accommodate strollers and motorized scooters for elderly and obese patrons. Some elevators clearly marked as to what floor the elevator was currently on; however, some had no indicators making a wait time hard to determine. Our cabin was on the 7th floor, midship making it reasonable to use stairs to move from place to place... A definite plus!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I almost think that this question should be asked twice! As far as the kids food menu and choices, well, they were in 7th heaven! Having been on other cruise ships, the food was not as good as Princess, but was a cut above Celebrity or Carnival,

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Plenty of everything for everyone! The production shows were wonderful... Much like the Disney movies... Geared toward children, but with subtle adult humor thrown in.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The kids loved the clubs! Often didn't want to leave! It was not a baby sitting service, but rather the staff was genuinely involved in the activities and participated with the kids keeping them busy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
It's Disney... It's what you would expect and the staff appear to love what they do!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Some of the areas could use some fresh paint and carpet; however, considering the numbers of passengers pushed through, all in all, I would rate the cleanliness on par with other Disney facilities as you would expect.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Disney thought about having kids on board! There was a tub with a shower device that coul be hand held... So a number of options rather than just a small shower stall as on most ships. Curtains were available to separate the sleeping areas of adults and children. Improvements I would suggest: more electrical outlets (there was really only one) and a night light for inside cabins that get very dark.

Pros: The emphasis on kids

Cons: Picture lines with characters
