It was just ok for me. Not sure if I will do another Disney cruise.

Review summary

I enjoyed most everything but the extra fees and tips kind of turned me off to Disney. I really was annoyed that my child was not given a lanyard and a arm band at the beginning because we had never sailed with Disney before. It kind of turned me off

Embarkation

Easy Seamless. I was annoyed that there were several perks that newbies to Disney didn’t get that kind of pissed me off.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Fantastic loved the Kosher options throughout

Onboard Activities

They didn’t have enough stuff for adults to do. I booked late so. So much was already booked and you had to pay extra for most of them.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
I only went to a magic show and I fell asleep during it

Children's Programs

He didn’t want to leave. I had to drag him out. This was stellar

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
I just hated the constant asking for tips. The extensive bill at the end for everyone. The stateroom host (good), head server( he did nothing but come say hi- why we need to give him a tip for that was ridiculous) the server (excellent) the assistant server( why did we need that- another ridiculous expense). Ended up being 162$ for each member of the stateroom including children. Plus they asked for more tips.

Ship Quality

Great! The ship was beautiful I wish they had bigger pools. They only had the kind you can just sit in. You couldn’t actually swim. It was overcrowded the whole time. I didn’t get to swim too many people were always in all the pools. 45 min wait on the aqua duck.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very comfortable and clean. Wish they had an iron in the room. My family enjoyed it.

Ship tip

Just know they charge for everything. My son got the Bibbidi Bobbidi salon and it cost 112$! When I signed up it was a lower different price.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
Yes it was just ok. Everything was so expensive.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

5 out of 5
Loved this the best! The food on the island was great! So many varieties of excursions

Disembarkation

I have done Disney four times. If they still provide the tipping envelopes, the amount is optional. We always tipped our cabin stewards and our two servers; those were the people that worked the hardest. It’s a great experience. To me, the restaurants need to be revamped. They serve the same menu each year. By the third cruise, we stopped dining in the restaurants.
