Disney Dream Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Ship: Disney Dream
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (young children)
Reviewed: 3 years ago
Review SummaryThe ship was very nice and clean. The food & serving staff were very nice.
But\, just because you allow folks to bring \"on board\" alcohol on board does not make up for the all the other services & facilities on other cruise boats\, that the Dream does not provide or allow.
My wife and I\, both 53\, brought our son & d-I-l\, ages 32 & 33\, and their two kids\, ages 6 & 4.
I understand the Disney \"concept\"\, but its not consistent; \"it's ok to load up on alcohol\, but\, having a casino takes away from the family image. But\, as stated above that's just one item.
The \"adults\"\, all four of us\, the ones that pay for the cruise\, were all disappointed.
Food and Dining
But\, not having an \"anytime option\" was very disappointing. Being forced into the 8:15 seating was not customer friendly!
Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Pros: Food was good
Cons: No Casino\, poor smoking facilities\,our boarding time was delayed by 45 minutes\, etc.
