Review summary

Our trip on the Dream was perfect.  We were celebrating our 30th anniversary, travelling with another couple celebrating 25.

Embrarkation was organized and fast!  Once onboard our rooms were ready by 1:30 which I thought was amazingly early.  Luggage was to room by 4.

Our cabin 8148 was clean and beautiful.  The split bathroom was great.  It was a little tight around the bed but I believe that is to be expected.  Our cabin was aft and the first night we could feel the vibrations of the engines but after that, we never heard or felt them again.  Our cabin steward was attentive but not intrusive.

We had heard the food was good but that doesn't even begin to cover it.  It was over the top each and every night.  We did not dine in the speciality restaurants.  I have no idea why anyone would.  The main dining rooms are exquisitely beautiful and the food is the best I've had at any restaurant, land or sea.  The waiters were wonderful and follow you from restaurant to restaurant as you rotate so you always have the same waiters.

We did a snorkeling excursiion in Nassau going out on a catamaran.  It was OK but when we got there, there were two other boats so it was quite crowded.  But still fun and it was a beautiful sail out there.

Castaway Cay is not to be missed.  Absolutely stunning.  We did the stingray adventure so much fun!!!!  As we were four adults, we went over to Serenity Bay for the day.  One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.  The food was good and is included in the price of the cruise.  We also did the Castaway Cay 5k in the morning and they made it loads of fun!

There is lots to do on the ship as well.  We had a day at sea and were never bored for a moment.

We saw two of the four shows.  The first one the Golden Mickeys was just OK and I wouldn't see it again.  But the last show "Believe" is not to be missed.  So good, so fun!!!

And, if you like Disney characters, they are EVERYWHERE!!!  Frequent appearances every day.  Plenty of opportunities for photos.  And the princesses are out too.  The princesses are so great with the kids, talking to each one as if they were the only child there.  Amazing!

I cannot recommend the Disney Dream enough.

Bring a water bottle! There is free pop and water but it can be quite a walk to go get it.
