The best cruise ever!!

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great attention to details. Elegant Disney decor. The character visits were announced in advance and were much easier and quicker than at the park. All the princesses at once in one place! Loved the rotational dining. Animators palate restaurant was an excellent , entertaining experience. Loved the huge movie screen at the pool . great adult only areas if you want to utilize them. Wonderful shows in the theater. The fireworks were a highlite.

Pros: The whole experience was well organized , from embarkation to debarkation. The aqua duck was the favorite!

Cons: The Atlantis aqua venture was a great park but not prepared for the # of people that were there, very unorganized

Recommends Disney Dream? Yes!

Ship Quality
Although there are a lot of people, you don't feel crowded. The balcony stateroom had lots of storage space. Our son loved the bunk bed. The decor was beautiful and the upkeep was exemplary, spit spot!
Food and Dining
5:45 dining worked for us with a 9 year old. Also a 8:15 time. Rotated to 3 different restaurants with the same staff. Nice touches. In table settings . Pirate night was great... The whole ship dresses, bring your eyepatches and sword! Food selection was excellent and a special menu each night for kids.
Cabin / Stateroom
Sailed on many other cruise lines, this had the most space and most storage. Balcony stateroom.
Service and Staff
Staff was always friendly and helpful , knew your names . Very kid friendly. Fun towel animals in cabin each night were a delight to our 9 yr old, me too!
Full scale theatrical productions in the theatre with lots of special effects. No wonder magic is the signature of Disney!
