Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

Overall, we loved this ship and would recommend it to everyone.

Pros: the shows, activities for kids, and impeccable service

Cons: that we had to go home :)

Recommends Disney Dream? Yes!

Ship Quality
Despite choppy waters, we were comfortable, the room (balcony) was spacious, everywhere you go there are hand sanitizers and/or wipes, service was amazing. The staff, no matter who they are,go over and beyond their duties to ensure you are happy on this boat. Everything is wheelchair or walker accessible, which worked great as well.
Food and Dining
The food was excellent. We would have like better dinig options for breakfast, in terms of buffet or sit down( (made fresh to order), but even buffet food was delicious.
Cabin / Stateroom
Room was very clean, spacious, and amenities included free Disney movies on demand (i.e.. lion king, cars, toy story etc.) it was great because it kept the little ones busy while we enjoyed the balcony.
Service and Staff
Even my toddler was catered to by dinig room staff at dinner. If they don't like what's on the menu OR have food allergies, the staff will ENSURE that they either prepare another meal OR that its allergy safe.
The shows are a MUST see, espcially Villains Tonight, which is a show that has all of the Disney villains. The shows give 2 showings on the same date. There are also adult only restaurants that are very esquisite.
Children's Programs
The oceaneers club is open until 1am daily, the kids love it, the staff is great, and you carry a cell phone in case of any issue with your child. So if you want a quiet meal, or catch on reading and/ro sleep.. you can with piece of mind.
Nassau, Bahamas
Atlantis, which is promoted, is highly overrated. We took a tour of the island with a local, and she was great. It depends on what you want to do.
Don't Miss: The beach--- was beautiful
Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)
We had more fun here, but arrived a week after the hurricane, so many activities were canceled. We were able to snorkel and lounge on th beach.
Don't Miss: The barbeque
