Dawn Princess

Ship: Dawn Princess

Cabin type: Balcony

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

The ship was gorgeous. Art auctions too warm, need more air conditioning in the hole on 5th floor. Almost had to leave it was so hot. I think autions should be somewhere else and too noisy with outsiders walking all over. Need to make elevator button summons all elevators. They need to be more express. They stopped on every floor even if full, very annoying. Need more time in port. We filled our time with excursions so did not get to buy family gifts. You have too much merchandise with Princess on it. That ok for passengers but not for gifts for others.

Get rid of the review show of 1898. Too long, would rather of shopped in old town. Cute show, but we did not get to shop in Skagway due to heavy rain, but could have after bus tour when it was not raining.

Butchart Gardens. Not enough time as I would like to see Empress Hotel, but had to leave port too early.

Loved the bald eagles
Don't Miss: jet boat to see the eagles in the back country

Pros: Private balcony

Cons: That you have to push elevator button in two places. One button should activate all in that area.
