I have used ROYAL CARIBBEAN< CARNIVAL AND Norwegian.   8 of us used Princess to go to Alaska, balcony room.  We saved for 5 years.  The ship had no out door covered areas, the pool was not covered, the dining room opened onto an outside deck and every time the door opened you froze.  We ate at the buffet with coats on.  We would stand some time 2 hours waiting to have dinner in the dining room.  We finally gave up and paid extra for optional dining in their restaurants.  We had some one with us that had diabetes and it was like "OH WELL". We choose Princess because their write up is, BEST ALASKA.    Definitely not.  We wrote to PRINCESS and have not heard from any one.  The girl that booked the trip said contact so an so and here is the number.  REALLY, is it not correct procedure when a customer has a complaint to contact the customer????  When we spoke to customer service desk , on the ship with our complaints, we were told this ship belongs in the Caribbean is not equipped for Alaska. Do not use Princess cruises in general, Rooms are very small, sheets were threadbare.  We WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE TWO ROOMS WITH 4 BEDS.  We had rooms with three beds.  When I called the booking agent, she said, Oh it looked like 4.  I know that's what you requested.    CARNIVAL is a better cruise line at better rates.  Save your money book with some one else.   Margaret Cowden
