The food was always beautifully presented. The quality seems to have declined some since our last cruise 2 years ago on the Caribbean Princess. Pastries were beautiful and tempting but usually disappointing\, either dry from cold storage or over baked. Fresh fruit and vegetable selection was limited and clearly declined in quality over the course of the 12 day trip\, as all fresh fruit was obtained in the embarkation port (Venice). Wait staff were very professional and attentive to special dietary needs and allergies\, knew their menu well and were able to provide personalized service. Most of the food was flavorful and well prepared.

The entertainment was heavy on Vegas style song and dance shows\, magician/comedians lacking talent\, the same mediocre band every day for sail away and evening music. The crew talent show featured several talented members and one very offensive number full of sexual innuendo and groping. There were several talented instrumentalists but they were not featured as often or as prominently.

The Crown Princess is sparkling clean\, in excellent repair and staffed with a gracious\, friendly and capable crew. Both staterooms and public areas are beautiful and well organized so that you never feel you are in a small city of more than 5\,000 people.
Cabin / Stateroom

Staterooms were amazingly well designed and comfortable for the space. Beds are comfortable\, and stateroom stewards are able to provide for special requests in linens.
