Norovirus nightmare!!!

Sail Date: February 01, 2012

Room Type: Inside

This cruise started out on the wrong foot. We were 5 hours delayed getting onboard due to an "extra" cleaning of the ship due to the Norovirus from the last cruise. Once we finally left the captain came on to tell us that we were skipping our first port due to leaving so late. No worries as they were going to extend our stay in the second port. Well after 2 days at sea to arrive at the second port the captain came on at 8:00 am and told us that the CDC has decided to cancel our cruise due to the Norovirus onboard the ship and we were told to return home immediately. So no stops anywhere and 4 days at sea on an infected ship!!! By far the worst experience on a cruise I have ever taken. Do NOT sail on the Crown Princess anytime soon!!!

Pros: None

Cons: Never made landfall anywhere.... The whole trip sucked!!!

Recommends Crown Princess? No.
