Fabulous Cruise

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is very large but we didn't have any trouble navigating it. There is so much to do that you just can't do it all. The entertainment was great--something for everyone. The comedian was the best and there were bands and lounges to suit anyones taste, from classical to oldies to current tunes. The best part is THERE IS NO SMOKING IN ANY OF THE INDOOR AREAS, INCLUDING THE LOUNGES. In seven days, I never saw anyone smoking. The food was not quite as good as I remembered, but was still very good and there was plenty of it. The bistro area was very popular--beautiful pastries, coffees, gelato, sandwiches, chicken salad with cashews and apples, shrimp salad, greek salad and a wonderful quartet and/or pianist played during lunch/dinner time. There were lots of quiet areas to settle down with a good book and also a non smoking outdoor deck with lounge chairs. One night even the Casino was non smoking. Kudos to Princess for this. This was our seventh and best Princess cruise ever .

Pros: The ship was fantasic

Cons: The food quality has declined a little but there was plenty of it

Recommends Crown Princess? Yes!
