A Friendly Cruise

Sail Date: February 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Suite

The Crown Princess was clean. Captain Andy and his crew took excellent care of us. Our mini-suite in the bow was comfortable and quiet. The dining rooms however were extremely cold. Hated that. Could never get warm. Service was good. But quality/variey of the food on menu was disappointing. The movies under the stars were not new releases. But the blankets on chairs were cozy.
The overall staff and our fellow passengers made these discomforts easier to bear. All in all. a good cruise. Had better, but this was still nice.

Pros: The Anytime dining, and good wait staff.

Cons: The Air Conditioning! Dining rooms were freezing.

Recommends Crown Princess? Yes!

Food and Dining
Liked the anytime dining. Wish they would improve the menu with more vegetarian dishes. And turn off the AC!
Cabin / Stateroom
Our stateroom was very comfortable. Found out though, that you could not order from the regualr menu for in-room dining. Disappointing.
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Ship size was great. Clean. But the smaller size public rooms and boutiques not so great. layout didn't care for.
