Both cruises were out of NY and the passengers on both were a lot more fun than on some departures from southern ports. This is the best ship I've been on for sea days. I never felt like we had that many people on board except in one of the 4 personal choice dining rooms. The food, entertainment and staff were well all above other large cruise lines. Movies under the Stars is now catching on elsewhere but it adds to the fun of the trip. Check out the Caribe Cafe at dinner for appitizers or adifferent dinner and for lunch the International Cafe in the atrium has some really good alternatives to the busy buffet. They run a class cruise without hte stuffiness. Maybe I was lucky but we had no problem with unruly kids on our trip to the Maritimes or down to the St. Thomas. Beware if you get off in NY, they have a real problems with the number of cabs servicing the ship. Many were worried the would miss flights.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Casino Had 2 poker tables full every night on 1st cruise then some dumbo decided they could save money with electronic poker machines. No players! Wise up and put real dealers back in--we had a lot of fun.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Ships are like cars--new is better.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Bit small but new and well designed.

Pros: Service, Food, Movies Under Stars and lots of personal space

Cons: Personal dining seems a little cramped

Recommends Crown Princess? Yes!
