Crown Princess Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Review SummaryFirst cruise and not impressed. Took cruise with 4 ports and they elected not to go to favorite, Bermuda at last minute. I understand this was the 3rd consecutive time they have passed this port up. Phoney excuses.
Casino was tired and arrogant staff.
Just not what I expected from my 1st and probably last cruise. Way over hyped. I call the Crown Princess the "jitters pirate ship" because all the staff seemed to have the jitters about the recent listing episode and the arrogance of the capt. continuely missing ports to make more money from bored and disappointed passengers. Try leaving St. Thomas, by passing Bermuda, and cruising back to NYC @ 12 knots for 3 days. Mind numbing and done soley for economic reasons. Period. The more time spent at sea will be spent at there bars and casinos, the more loot they pull in. This outfit is about looting. Period.
But they didn't miss Grand Turks which absolutely is meaningless to stop at except for the fact that they own it and the shops which are like walmart quality. The rest of the small island is a Prison and lighthouse, then shacks.
One simply doesen't get that warm and fuzzy feeling aboard this floating money grabber. Pirate feeling maybe.
Upon passing up Bermuda no compensation whatsoever offered and/or denied. What a sham/scam outfit this operation is.
