A Less than wonderful Cruise!!!!!

Sail Date: August 01, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

We have taken 5 Royal Carribean cruises prior to this cruise. This ship was not as nice as the Royal ships. From the artwork to the food everything was just ok. Cabins were smaller than we were used to on Royal. We had a balcony also. Rooms were noiser than we were used to. Could hear all other passengers in nearby rooms. Cabin Steward did not make up the third bed for use. We had to make it every night. Food was not as good as Royal. Maitre D rude and unhelpful when we wanted to switch from Anytime dining to first seating. Casino staff did not know their games, players had to help them with winning hands. Crew in general not really attentive or helpful when asked questions. Ports chosen not fun. We landed in Bermuda on Sunday, there is nothing to do or see in Bermuda on Sunday because everything is closed on Sunday. Should not hit this port on a Sunday. Turkls and Caicos a big waste. All there was to do there was go to the beach. Shops were owned by the cruise company so there was no shopping. Someone on the boat took a cab inot town and said there was nothing to see or do there. Big waste of a port. Would not reccomend going there. Poor layot of the ship. Hard to find dining areas because of confusing layout. Not many shops on the boat.

Pros: Movies under the Stars, Variety of Entertainment at Night

Cons: Rude Maite'D, less than helpful crew, small cabins, sub standard food, cabin steward that cut corners, casino staff not trained at their jobs, insulting charges for everthing, youth security down your back
