Review summary
After several Costa cruises we chose Costa Mediterranea, 28.02.13 to 28.03.2013, Miami (Florida) to Savona (Italy) … Caribbean / Transatlantic Costa has clearly changed its business model and is trying to reduce operational costs to pay for the "Costa Concordia" disaster. This is being done at the expense of passengers by reducing services in all departments both on and off the ship. A Costa cruise no longer offers quality. Cabins still not made up until the afternoon and not properly cleaned, a dirty balcony, even complaints about toilets overflowing on lower decks. Reduced services in bars and restaurants with less service staff available, a low quality of food served in the main restaurant and reduced selections in the buffet restaurant (in the evenings no buffet, only Pizza). The quality of services now being offered by Costa has reached a totally unacceptable low level. Even restaurant and bar managers are apologizing to passengers for the low standards and reduced quality of services and stating that passengers are now paying for Concordia. This has been our most disappointing cruise experience ever, our "trust" in Costa has been totally disturbed, there can no longer be customer loyalty, and Costa has made our decision for us … "NEVER AGAIN WITH COSTA".Ship experiences
