If you plan on playing cards, bring your own deck. the ones provided in the card room would make it through four to five games and then start to get weird. You can purchase used cards from the casino for $1, but even then, we got one deck that was oddly oily on the edges.

The wine and food tasting and pairings were excellent. I attended the two in the Bordeau dining room (food pairing, and the chocolate pairings). Great programs. Also, in the dining room, ask about the dessert: The Volcano It's a hidden surprise! 😊

Don't buy art from the art gallery, Park West Gallery. Its a total scam. They've had many law suits against them and are dishonest about art work being originals painted on canvas. Do your research BEFORE getting on the boat. Lots of these companies on board are selling low quality goods claiming they are higher quality than they actually are.

Don't take cabins on lower decks, it is too noisy.

Don't take Frontier Excursions side trips. The Princess side trips reread great. Guides were informative and experienced.

Don't decide that this ship is too small - it is great and has everything that you need. I did not ever feel crowded on this ship and the theatre easily held everyone that attended. Service was top notch - they must have put their best employees on the Coral.

If you like QVC and Old Country Buffet, you will enjoy this cruise. Nevertheless, we on this cruise because the are few alternatives if you want to cover the inside passage with ease. The times in port were also generous. The ports of call are all great and the ship makes it easy/ painless to get off and on.

You will be innundated with requests to go to high dollar jewelry store and art events on the boat. Don't let that put you off. It really bothered us at first. It seemed that Princess had forgotten the middle class traveler, but if you look around, you will really find that there are gifts and souvenirs to be bought in all price ranges. Y
