Review summary

The cruise was great, best food we have had on a cruise.  The ship is showing some age (rust on ourdoor metal railings, worn carpet) and needs some refurbishing, (apparently 12 rooms were flooded during our cruise and we were aware of several leaks around the ship).

The land portion was run excellently.  We liked how everything was handled, baggage and all.  Made that portion very easy especially given that we were in 3 different hotels over four nights.  However, it was at times like herding cattle when we were getting in buses.  If you can do a little more on your own that could be avoided.

Loved the larger bathroom and balcony. Will be tough to go back to regular sized rooms

Ship tip

If you need to do laundry try to do it before the last two full days as those days are very crowded.

We have cruised twice on Regal Princess and encountered none of the things you folks did. Two 14 day cruises and everything was truly great! We had a plain balcony cabin and it was great both times. We have also sailed twice with Holland and twice with Celebrity and all four of those cruises were Significantly more expensive. Good cruises and good service but not as satisfying as Princess. We have 9 princess cruises under our belt and going on another to Alaska next week. Can hardly wait.
