Celebrity Summit Cruise Review to Bermuda
Ship: Celebrity Summit
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 4 years ago
Review SummaryWhile we are aware this is not a new ship, the Summit is great, large enough, not a mega ship, thankfully. Dining room service and food were excellent, compared to MSC and some of the other cruise lines we have b een on. This is our 12th cruise, so we kind of have a level of service we expect.
Smiling service was evident everywhere, we could not walk anywhere without some kind greeting and/or smile, whether it was in the area of our room or elsewhere.
While we were in port in Bermuda we were docked by the NewNorwegian Breakaway and while we were in lines for the ferry, we heard many negatives being discussed. So I guess we just dont live in a perfect world. One of our international friends declares, "You Americans are just too spoiled: Perhaps she is right, We loved our cruise and had little towel animals on our bed, clean towels, (if your read the book in the cabin, it tells you their policy on towels, if you leave them in the floor, they will be replaced, and it they are hanging, steward assumes you will use it again. Same with bed linens, the schedule is posted in the large Celebrity Life cruise book. Would sail away tomorrow, if only we could get away!

Pros: aNYTIME DINING IS OUR FAVORITE, NOT BEING ON A SCHEDULE ON VACATION IS IMPORTANT TO US.
Cons: No Laundry room for self laundry or no irons allowed or available. I would have planned a different wardrobe, more permanent press items.
