I was very, very disappointed with the accommodations on Celebrity Summit. The room was extremely small and right next to a crew door entrance which meant constant noise and traffic past my room (which was at the end of the hall). It took 3 days for them to find other stateroom for me to move to. They also seem to be putting the bed against the wall under the window. This means you have to crawl on the bed to see out your oceanview state room. Food was not exceptional - much of it way too overcooked. Lobster was tough as was the lamb. Salmon and short ribs were delicious. Deck 10 needs to have more attention to emptying ash trays and taking used items off the table. Wicker chairs on 10 were too low and hard to get in and out of.
Wait staff and cabin staff were very helpful and pleasant and helpful. Casino staff were very friendly.
Islands that were visited were very good. Took excursions each day that were very well organized and worked well for a single person.
