Enjoyable relaxing cruise

Room Type: Oceanview

Overall, this cruise was excellent. The crew was very accomodating and cordial down from the room attendant to the captain. The food was exceptional from morning pastries and buffet to lunch paninis and freshly prepared sushi to dinner soups and entrees...all was excellent.
Wine stewards were wonderful and selection was extensive.
Ship was very relaxing atmosphere-not Vegas style, but very formal.
Entertainment was very enjoyable each night.
I would recommend this cruise as there is so much to see and do.

Pros: The food was outstanding as was the service

Cons: Some excursions were overrated and would prefer finding fun on my own from now on.

Recommends Celebrity Summit? Yes!

Ship Quality
Ship was very clean and more formal and less flashy than most which I enjoyed. Seemed to be more formal and less Vegas style.
Food and Dining
Sushi made fresh daily was excellent as were morning pastries (almond croissant was my favorite) and dinner entrees were outstanding each night.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was quite nice and bed very comfortable. Only negative is when one was opening closet and one was opening bathroom door-you both colided.
Service and Staff
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Butterfly farm was fun but very pricey. $5 would have been plenty Bahimi Breeze crew was from the states and very cocky. Would have preferred another crew. They also took us out to very far destination (St John) and had us trying to swim out very far to a reef. Very difficult trip which made me sick.
St. John's, Antigua
Kayaking was fun as was home where it started.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Must go to Mahu Beach/Airport Beach and see the planes. Stay next to Sunset beach bar and enjoy a beer while planes fly overhead.
Don't Miss: Mahu Beach.
Castries, St. Lucia
Walk in volcano and Pitons are a must see but getting there is very depressing with the povery and hands out by locals. Also very windy roads to get there. 7 hour trip was too long.
Bridgetown, Barbados
Finding cab at reasonable price was difficult and once on Payne's Beach every local wanted money for something. Would go to other beach where not so commercialized.
Don't Miss: Flying fish sandwich.
