Review summary
The Summit is a great ship in a fine Company that still values quality, sophistication, and passenger service. This is a large ship, but not a mega-liner. This is our 3 rd time on the Summit; and it continues to offer excellent food - one side of the menu is the same; the other side changes daily for dinner in the main dining room. Main Theatre entertainment equal to Broadway/Las Vegas shows. Louge entertainment is excellent - dancing available. Classical music also offered. The Lido Cafe and Spa organic/gourmet options are very high quality, with nice diversity. Oriental, British, even Sushi choices, ice cream and sorbet (all free). The crowd is quieter, a bit more mature, but plenty of honeymooners, families, and true seniors. Europeans all around, as well. This is still a classic, beautiful ship, with lovely wood trims, art all around, and class. The deck bar staff are not intrusive at all. Smoke free Casino is a real treat. Plenty of room to spread out all over the ship. Cabin staff were fine (missed not having wrapped towel animals; but we survived). You can still find the disco and late night partying, if so inclined. No compromise on quality or variety in all food areas.Ship experiences
