We've been Captain's Club members for 8 years... this was the worst...Waited at Vancouver for greeters not knowing whether to get luggage or not...After waiting at luggage carousel for 15 minutes, a greeter showed up to say luggage was already taken but noone met us earlier because they "were on break."Food had always been exceptional, however, this time it was mediocre and the lines at lunch buffet were unending. Service in the dining room at breakfast and lunch was slow and waiters were like robots...no personality or interaction and made you feel like you were an annoyance...dinner menu was uneventful and it seemed that the vegetables each night were the same...lacked tasteful seasoning. This was a great disappointment, especially because we invited friends to cruise with us, because we had found their food exceptional in the past. They had never traveled with Celebrity before and we wanted to introduce them to a wonderful cruise line. They were disappointed. The entertainment was extraordinary, thank goodness for that, and the beauty of the ship. Personnel needs training in people skills.
