The ship is beautiful and public rooms are both spacious and cozy. We felt welcomed from the minute we stepped aboard and were well cared for the entire voyage. Even with all staterooms booked, the ship never felt crowded or the service slowed by the number of guests. We love cruising and would definitely consider sailing on this ship again.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining room is beautiful with a panoramic view form two levels. The wait staff was exemplary and as parents we cold not have asked for more than the patience they had while helping our children to order from their own menus and then making sure their food was cut and served with finesse. The children felt like grown ups at every meal and truly enjoyed it. The specialty dining option on this ship is not to be missed. It is well worth the additional charge to have a meal that is among the finest we have had anywhere in the world - on land or sea. Make a reservation for this adult only restaurant early in your voyage.

The full cast shows were fantastic! The singers and dancers were top quality and the arielists gave each performance something extra special. The naturalist on board presented terrific information about what to expect and was delightful as a storyteller. We also enjoyed the guest comedian.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
The children took all of 5 minutes to get settled into the program and before the trip was over knew more about the ship than most adults on board. They enjoyed games, movies, crafts, a talent show and scavenger hunts. Their experience was highlighted by a bridge tour. The staff in the children's center was fantastic.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We took advantage of the arrival lunch buffet on board before the ship sailed and were pleasantly surpried when waiters appeared to help our children with food selections and carrying their trays. We knew then that we were going to expereince true pampering on this trip.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The concierge class staterooms are beautiful and quite spacious for a cruise ship. The room was clean and quiet. Concierge service included an arrival bottle of champagne and nightly canapes. A stateroom with a balcony is such a plus on an Alaskan sailing. There are beautiful place to view the secenery from all over the ship, but little compares to sliding on a thick robe and sitting on your own balcony to watch whales breaching off in the near distance.

Pros: unbelievable service by cruise staff
