To put it short it was inconsiderate to take us to a flooding area in the middle of a rain storm.Alaska had 10 days prior to our arrival continuous rain storms (so we were told). The tour guide and the driver told us the road to Denali was washed out yet, they still drove us right in the middle of the flood. Our vacation that we were waiting for a long time to come ended up in a waiting for someone to pick us up and take us back to Anchorage. Why didn't we know about this before we left Anchorage? Why wasn't there a plan B? According to our driver only 30% of visitors ever get to see Denali. Why wasn't that disclosed?
We paid serious money for this and had absolutely nothing but catched a cold. The reason we booked trough Celebrity was so we don't have any surprises. We tought going with someone who knows the area can save us Alaska's surpises. There was not even a card game for us. This reflects very bad on Celebrity even though it didn't happen on the ship. The rudest thing was to give us the little tips envelopes at the end of our wait.

Pros: service on board

Cons: after cruise package
