Great cruise

HOW IN GOD'S NAME COULD YOU ALLOW THAT SHIP TO SAIL, KNOWING THERE WAS A "NORAVIRUS " CONTAMINATION ON THE PREVIOUS SAILINGS.WE WERE NEVER SO VIOLENTLY SICK IN OUR LIVES. HORRIBLE,SHAME ON YOU !!!!!!!

the solstice never should have sailed considering the health issua of the noravirus, the disenfecting did not work as my husband and i still got sick as many other passengers. the whole issue was handled poorly without any regard for the people on board

Ship has a nice layout and balcony rooms are very nice and spacious (for a cruise ship) Showers were very spacious as well. Ship was a nice size not to big or small.

Overall ship clean and neat. Did not like the fact there was not a floor/level where you could walk around the ship on the outside. Pool area small for the size of ship. Staff were not overly friendly and in some cases rude.

Ship clean yet still had outbreak of Norovirus which derailed many things

We loved everything about our cruise and we wouldn't change a thing!

This was our 5th cruise and it was by far the biggest waist of our money. The crew was not friendly. The pool deck never had enough towels and dirty dishes were all over the pool deck. The entertainment was awful, a magic/comic show, please Im an adult not a 10 year old boy. I would tell you pick another cruise line you will be better off.

Great ship, very clean and upscale. Gym was the best I've seen on a ship. Not a good cruise for people under 70. Kind staff. Blu was great. Other food was decent. Shows were slightly above average.

The Solstice is beautiful. With tasteful signage; I was able to find my way wherever needed after only minimal change in direction! A person can find a quiet corner to relax and read in, or they can be part of all the organized activities the ship offers.

I would recommend the Solstice. The crew does everything that they can to make it a memorable vacation. The food in the main dinning room is average. Most of the time it is bland and delivered to the table warm not hot. However the specialty restaurants are great and food at morning buffets is plentiful and there is a variety. The morning brunch was very good. I would not recommend Celebrity for teenagers as specifically the Solstice seems to have an older group of people. I also do not know what the singles scene is like.

The ship was clean and the service was incredible. Though Celebrity is not a cruise line that is known as being kid oriented they did an amazing job at keeping our 9 yr old daughter happy and very entertained.

Excellent cruise on the Celebrity solstice. The ship was beautiful and well designed. The crew was awesome and very friendly plus attentive.

This ship was great with a real modern design and look throughout. Lots of public spaces allows one to get away from the crowds no matter what time of day. Lots of shops and activities on the ship. They had several concerts out on the lawn under the stars. The ship provides blankets and the ability to purchase wine and cheese. Glass blowing demonstrations were held almost everyday. These were always amazing and lasted up to two hours. Three glass artists each made a piece at each show. They made fish, crabs, vases, plates all out of multiple colors of glass. Great shows... Entertainment shows in the main theater were top notch. All three production shows were excellent....the singers sang in tune and on time...music was great...dancing was great. Highly recommend spending time on the Celbrity Solstice.

Excellent cruise for all types and interests. Great variety of activities led by helpful, friendly, caring staff.

This being our first cruise, we can't make comparison to other cruises, but our overall impression was there was a high degree of attention payed to all aspects of the running of the ship. Our room was wonderful, with a big deck (paid extra) all was kept very clean. The meals in general were good to excellent, though sedate in taste. Our three complaints would be not enough onboard activities or entertainment, too few items of exercise equipment resulted in frequent waits, and the dis-embarkment was a total fiasco. The port didn't have enough staff, only 3 customs officers for thousands of people, not enougjh taxis or shuttle busses - resulting in about a 2 hour process from the time we left the ship to the time we got in a cab!
